Seniors for Independence

We are working with Alberta Seniors in order to have our say in any discussion or referendum regarding Alberta independence. In preparation for the vote on a referendum question on October 19th, 2026, we are seeking volunteers to assist in many aspects of our work.

Option 2 is a different course—one that puts Albertans first in the decisions that shape this province.

Given that concentration of strategic resources, Ottawa’s interest in keeping things exactly as they are is not a mystery. The question for us is simpler: do we keep sending the value of what we produce east under the same rules, or do we take a greater share of that future into our own hands? This fall’s referendum is the moment. Option 1 is the status quo. Option 2 is a different course—one that puts Albertans first in the decisions that shape this province. Look at the resources. Look at the record. Then vote as if the next generation will live with the result. Because they will.
